Summary

In this chapter, we have learned how to remove manual browser interaction from the test process with an introduction to test automation approaches and use cases. We have investigated different tools to drive our tests from the command line and worked through a concrete test automation implementation using PhantomJS to drive our Backbone.js application tests.

Also, we left with a few final thoughts on the principles that we have developed throughout the course of this book and where to turn next.
