Azure Synapse Analytics Database Templates
Azure Synapse Analytics is the most feature-rich of the Azure Data Services. Its origin lies in a project once called SQL Datawarehouse, with its foundation rooted in the aim to deliver a cloud-based version of SQL Server tailored for analytical workloads. This is achieved primarily through strong support for clustering and the parallel execution of queries.
