Monitoring the site
A Configuration Manager infrastructure is quite robust. However, occasionally things do go wrong. It is not a good position to be in when something fails unexpectedly. At this stage, there is panic and confusion and it's difficult to troubleshoot under these circumstances.
It's much better to be proactive rather than reactive. Configuration Manager monitoring is an important part of an administrator's job.
Monitor Configuration Manager Sites
Use the Monitoring workspace in the Configuration Manager console to monitor the hierarchy and associated operations.
