Using Citrix® Director
Citrix Director allows Citrix administrators to handle a large number of applications and a large desktop infrastructure. It provides a web-based interface to the entry-level helpdesk engineers to help users and accomplish routine maintenance activities without providing them full access to the Citrix XenApp or XenDesktop console. Using Citrix Director, helpdesk engineers can view the user sessions and can act upon delivering first or second level support by troubleshooting user issues.
Citrix Director is a tool that can be used to troubleshoot user issues before they become system critical as well as perform support jobs for end users. Citrix Director provides different views of the interface personalized to particular Citrix administrators. Citrix XenDesktop permissions define what is displayed and what commands are available.
