To get the most out of this book
It is assumed that the reader has basic knowledge of the terms and vocabulary of electronics, electrical, and mechatronics (engineering). The reader could work in manufacturing, industrial automation, or a teaching fraternity, or be that pillar of society–the layperson.
You can try out various possible applications in the book using numerous DIY kits that are out there, but it is not really necessary. What the book teaches you is how to apply various engineering principles in real life. The best thing a student can do is join an automation company or a machine building company (an OEM) to explore these concepts further.
