During the course of this chapter, we discussed the three major design considerations of building a reliable application: the application's High Availability, Disaster Recovery readiness, and the ability to scale on demand and be prepared to handle high or fluctuating load.
We have reviewed the implementation of HA, DR, and scaling in Azure serverless computing, and provided brief references to their implementation in the other services used in our text sentiment application.
In the next and final chapter of this book, we will analyze the cost of the text sentiment application and learn how to choose the most cost-effective tier for each application component based on the expected load.
