Summary
In this lesson, we have covered AlwaysOn AGs in detail. We first started by discussing the common concepts and terminologies associated with AlwaysOn. We then talked about the prerequisites to configure an AlwaysOn AG. This lesson also talked about provisioning Hyper-V VMs as a part of the infrastructure setup to configure AlwaysOn AG.
Further on, we learned how to create an Active Directory Domain Controller, a Windows Server Failover Cluster, and the AlwaysOn AG. The AlwaysOn AG is configured with three replicas: one primary and two secondary. Finally, we talked about the different resources created as part of the AlwaysOn AG configuration.
In the next lesson, we'll learn to manage and monitor AlwaysOn AG.
