Technical requirements
You will need the following hardware and software to complete this chapter:
- A computer that can run a basic project with at least Unreal Engine 5.
- The latest Quixel plugin installed in Unreal Engine. For more information, go to https://docs.unrealengine.com/5.0/en-US/quixel-bridge-plugin-for-unreal-engine/.
The Unreal Engine version that’s used in this chapter is version UE 5.4. The PCG tool was introduced with Unreal Engine 5.2, but there are some nodes that got deprecated in Unreal Engine 5.4; hence, the latest version of Unreal Engine is the most beneficial for this chapter.
