Animating elements

Fade-in animation is easy and fun to work with and with a few rounds of practice you'll get it just right. So let's get started! Please join us when we take a look at the recipe below.

Getting ready…

1. Open your prezi.
2. Arrange the elements you want to animate in a frame.
3. Ensure that all the elements are completely inside the frame.
4. Ensure that the frame is added to the path.

How to do it…

1. Switch to Edit Path mode.
2. Click on the animation star for the frame you want to work with (choose the star on the canvas or in the path). Now the Animation dialogue box opens.
3. First, click on the element you want to fade in as number one. A green star appears, showing the number one, indicating that this is the first element to fade in.
4. Click on any additional elements that you want to animate. Additional green stars with numbers indicating the order in which elements fade in will appear.
5. Close the window by clicking on Done.
