Introduction

Prezi's working space or background is called the

canvas. Everything we want in the prezi must be added to the canvas. When we work in Prezi, we insert many kinds of material onto the canvas, such as texts, images, videos, frames, and other elements.

As a means to refer to all these different kinds of materials as a group, we will use the term elements, thus referring to various materials that we use and insert in Prezi.

We can add elements of all kinds on to the canvas and place them where we see fit. Once our elements are on the canvas, we set our presentation to move forward from one element to another by adding each element to the path lane. This process is referred to as creating steps. The order of our steps defines how our prezi advances in Present mode.

An element that is set as a step automatically fills our screen when we reach it (in Present mode). Sometimes this is what we want; at other times we want a different look. We may want space around an element. We...
