Since our source code is hosted in GitHub, we will use GitHub Actions as an example to introduce how to set up CI workflows for .NET MAUI development.

Understanding GitHub Actions

GitHub Actions is a CI/CD platform that can be used to support the automation of deployment. For .NET MAUI app development, our target is to build, test, and deploy our apps to app stores or specified publishing channels. In this section, we will focus on CI using GitHub Actions rather than both CI and CD.
