Optimizing cloud resources and minimizing waste

Optimizing cloud resources is an ongoing process that demands constant monitoring, effective management, and relevant optimization to mitigate the risk of resource waste. Resource waste in the cloud environment refers to the overprovision of cloud resources that remain unused or idle. Let’s understand the ways to optimize cloud resources and minimize waste:

  • Identify resource waste: To identify resource wastage, do the following:
    • Check your stuff: Regularly look at your cloud resources. Are there any unused or outdated ones just hanging around, costing you money? Think of it like cleaning out your closet – getting rid of what you don’t need!
