Managing Private and Shared Channel Membership
In Microsoft Teams, the composition and management of private channels are closely linked to their parent team. To participate in a private channel, individuals must first be members of the parent team. For example, if a private channel named Managers is created within the Sales team, only members of the Sales team can be added to the Managers private channel.
