Creating a custom distributed application
From the previous recipe, you have seen how quickly and easily you can set up and create a diagram based on a template. When your application does not fit into one of the templates, though, you need to be able to create or add custom components to a diagram to ensure your application is represented properly.
Getting ready
As with the previous recipe, the fundamental preparation is to understand the application itself. You need to understand what it is that makes the application work and what components should impact the availability of the service.
In this demo application, we will be using our SCOM management group again but, this time, we will be using three management servers and the database server.
