Reporting Services
The first technology you should check out, in my opinion, is SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). It is in fact the technology on which the RDLC reports are based, but RDL has much more to offer and has some interesting advantages.
Since you have invested your time to learn how to develop RDLC reports for the Role Tailored client, why not get a bigger return on investment on that? Is it possible to apply the knowledge gained to server side Reporting Services? I will try to answer that in this section.
SQL Server Reporting Services and in fact already is becoming an important reporting tool for Dynamics NAV.
