Word – embedding a Word document
Another interesting feature enables you to embed a Microsoft Word document in another document, or any other Microsoft Office file (Excel or PowerPoint, for example). To embed a file, go to the Insert tab and look for the Insert Object button, or you can type in the search box at the top of Microsoft Word to find this and any other function, as shown in Figure 15.22:
A new window will open to allow you to select which object or file you want to embed in your Microsoft Word document, as shown in Figure 15.23. You can embed the content of the file or display it as an icon, as you prefer:
