Summary

We discussed the importance of monitoring microservices and containers; we also created a central logging approach to solve the problems of traditional logging systems using ELK.

The Spring Cloud Sleuth API provides a log-tracing mechanism and end-to-end log tracing of a transaction in a distributed microservices-based application. Zipkin also provides log-tracing techniques with timestamps. So, the Zipkin library is very useful for distributed applications.
