Chapter 3: Getting Familiar with Basic Tools in Sheet Metal
Now that we have learned how to create Base Flanges and how to add Edge Flanges, we can start to look at specialized tools.
In this chapter, we’ll discover how to add and remove material using Tabs, Cuts, and Holes. We’ll also explore new flange types such as the Miter Flange and Hem, as well as Sketched Bends, which can be used to add more unusual bend styles. Finally, we’ll learn about the Jog feature, both from a theoretical and a practical perspective.
By the end of this chapter, you’ll have a full understanding of the basic Sheet Metal tools.
