Drivers, tools, and simple games
Each Manjaro flavor comes with system tools; the Linux world is literally full of them. If you open the main menu and type monitor
, task
, or system
in the search box, you will find several tools available from the initial installation. The KDE Plasma default System Monitor is magnificent in my experience. If those are not enough for you, open Pamac and search, for example, for System Monitor
.
I have selected applications that I find interesting and useful: System Monitor (gnome-system-monitor
), MATE System Monitor, KSysGuard, NVIDIA System Monitor (if you are using an NVIDIA graphics card), Conky, CopyQ, and CoreStats. There are hundreds more.
Consider two things – applications designed for one flavor may not work on others. Here, Flatpak helps a lot, as it has the necessary dependencies. The second point is that if an application fails, removing it takes seconds.
