As society started to become increasingly conscious of the environmental and social impacts of technology, new disciplines started to emerge to address these concerns. One that should be brought to our attention is Sustainable Software Engineering (SSE), which has gained significant prominence in recent years.
Traditional software engineering primarily centers on designing, developing, and maintaining software systems with a core emphasis on functionality and performance. Its primary objective is to deliver digital products that meet user requirements reliably, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
