Introduction
Starting from a tour of Gephi and its features, various layout algorithms, statistical metrics, filters, and the Data Laboratory mode, and moving on to getting our hands dirty working with real-world datasets, we have covered almost everything that Gephi has to offer. We gained a good understanding of how to create and manipulate a new graphical network, as well as exploring and manipulating an existing network. But sometimes all of this is not sufficient for everything that we want to accomplish in our data exploration. In fact, it is not even feasible for a tool to have all the features one could think of. That is where plugins come into the picture. Gephi has a really helpful marketplace where users can find a lot of useful plugins that can be used alongside Gephi to carry out whatever the user needs to on a dataset. In this chapter, some of the plugins that are extensively used by researchers and developers working with Gephi are covered. So, let's jump right in.
