Managing backends in visual applications
A backend is a collection of servers that we use to access backend REST APIs from visual applications. These backends are Integration Applications, Oracle Cloud Applications, Processes, and Custom backends. You can refer to Chapter 2, Provisioning and Understanding the Visual Builder Instance, in the Exploring various navigations of VB: section, under the Settings section, to see how to add backends.
Let's understand the different terminology that is used to describe backends:
- Backends: Backends represent the applications, such as Integration Applications, Oracle Cloud Applications, Processes, and Custom backends. Backends can be added at the tenant level from the Settings menu of the VB and under the VB applications.
