Chapter 8. Advanced Confluence

So far we have been using Confluence out of the box, making use of all the features, templates, and macros that are bundled with the installation. Confluence also comes with the possibility to add your own features, templates, and macros to the product. This way you can tailor your Confluence installation to your company's needs.

In this chapter, we will learn about the more advanced features in Confluence, such as how to create and apply templates to give your content more structure. We will also take a look at creating our own macros, which can be used while creating content.
