Facebook also went down yesterday during the morning on the west coast of the U.S... The outage lasted for about 40 minutes. The website showed an error simply saying “Sorry, something went wrong. We're working on it and we'll get it fixed as soon as we can” to users trying to access the site.
Users also faced difficulties using Facebook Messenger. The outage was a result of an issue caused due to a routine test conducted by Facebook.

Google cloud also faced the same fate as Youtube and Facebook as it went down yesterday afternoon at around 1:12 PM PT and ended at 2:35 PM PT. Users faced connectivity issues when using a number of Google services including Google APIs, load balancers, and other external IP addresses.
The Google support team posted an update on the outage on Google Cloud status dashboard.
“Throughout the duration of this issue Google services were operating as expected and we believe the root cause of the issue was external to Google. We will conduct an internal investigation of this issue and make appropriate improvements to our systems to help prevent or minimize future recurrence”.
Google also tweeted back to users who were complaining about the outage.
