Summary
In this chapter, we introduced the latest vSphere product update from VMware. vSphere 6.0 is new and very feature rich, enabling customers to virtualize bigger workloads with better management possibilities. To sum it up, vCenter Server Appliance and vSphere Web Client have been massively overhauled to give customers faster and user-friendly utilities for managing their virtual infrastructure. For the first time, vCSA is in no way inferior to the classic Microsoft Windows counterpart, giving customers the free choice of both architectures. It seems like vCSA is fast becoming the primary platform for vCenter Server; so it will definitely be interesting to see how VMware is going to improve this in the future.
