Recompiling widgetsets in Maven
When we add a client-side add-on into our project, we need to recompile the widgetset. In this recipe, we will explore how to recompile widgetsets in the new Maven plugin for Vaadin.
Getting ready
Create a new Vaadin project in Maven.
How to do it...
When we change the client-side components, we just run the following command in the project root where the pom.xml

mvn vaadin:compile
In case we want to just update a widgetset after adding an add-on, we run the following Maven target in the command line:
mvn vaadin:update-widgetset
How it works...
Maven plugin for Vaadin takes care of the widgetset compilation, which makes the widget compilation much easier than it was in Vaadin 6.
