Image size and resizing Documents (canvases) for projects
In Photopea, you can resize your original images. However, you have to be careful while saving! Once you close the Document (Canvas), you won’t be able to revert the file back to its original state. It’s best to back up the images in case you need to have the originals.
Important note
There is a clear distinction between changing the Image Size versus changing the Canvas (or Document) Size. Using the Transform and Scale option with an image on a separate Layer or a single Layer Unlocked, you can change the Image Size without affecting the actual Document Size (Canvas). If you try to change the Image Size from the Image menu, this option will affect the entire Document Size (Canvas Size) as demonstrated in Figure 2.13.
