Basics of integration testing

Integration testing is a phase of software testing where individual modules or components of an application are combined and tested as a group to ensure they work together correctly. This type of testing focuses on detecting issues that arise from the interaction between integrated units, such as data transfer errors, interface mismatches, and communication failures.

By validating the combined functionality of these interconnected components, integration testing helps ensure that the overall system operates seamlessly and meets specified requirements.
