Requirement elicitation techniques
There are multiple techniques that you can use for your elicitation activity. There can be multiple factors why you may have to choose one technique over another. As a business analyst, you pick the one that meets your objectives within the given resources and constraints. We will discuss some of the techniques that I and my team utilized with great success. What techniques you use depends on many factors. I used many and some of them never worked in my project scenarios while others worked very well. What technique we use depends on the context and you need to have a complete awareness of the context in which you are doing elicitation. For example, doing an elicitation activity for an existing production system is different from the one you plan to do for a completely new implementation.
