Introduction to perspectives in Desktop Studio
Desktop Studio provides perspectives to carry out various development tasks associated with creating automations. A perspective essentially is a collection of tools and windows dedicated to carrying out a development task. The left-hand side of the following screenshot shows the five perspectives available to a developer:
Let's look at the perspectives shown:
- The Explorer perspective (1) is selected, and all the sections associated with this perspective are visible.
- The Workflow perspective (2).
- The Editor perspective (3).
- The UI Designer perspective (4).
- The Debug menu with the debug option (F5), which leads to the debug perspective (5).
The screenshot also shows the common elements available from all perspectives:
