What are frames used for?

Frames are an integral part of how prezi works. We use them all the time to group and organize content, for decoration purposes, and to control how the content is presented when we switch to Present mode.

Remember that any element (frame, image, text element, or any other) that we show as a step in our prezi will fill the entire screen. Let's consider, as an example, an image of a car. Added as a step, the car will fill the screen in Present mode. However, if the car is put in a frame, and you use the frame as a path step, it will be the frame that fills the screen. The element in the frame can now be resized to be shown at any size, large, small, or partly as you please.

Frames in Prezi are used to control in detail what a path step looks like in Present mode. In other words, it is the use of frames that allows us to adjust what is shown in a step and how it is shown.
