Summary

In this chapter, we have learned about the APEX runtime environment and how it can make our production environments more secure. We have seen how we can change an APEX Full Development Environment to an APEX Runtime Environment. We have also seen how we can manage the APEX Runtime Environment using Oracle SQL*Plus or Oracle SQL Developer to perform tasks such as deploying applications, setting parameters , managing workspaces, and accessing common environment details through APEX views.

In the next chapter, we will look at Security and how it can be used in our applications.
