Release Preview

The Release Preview account is a temporary test account that is a replica of your live database. It is provided free of charge to you to test the new functionality prior to the release. This account has no interaction with your live account after being provisioned, so don't expect any additional data to synchronize between the two. It's always wise to perform some testing prior to the actual release, the Release Preview account is the perfect place to perform this testing.

We access the Release Preview database by logging into NetSuite in the normal way and selecting the change role button. The link to the Release Preview will appear there.

Preparing for the upgrade

NetSuite provides us with a number of tools to help us prepare for the release.
