Configuring small multiples
Sometimes you want to show multiple visualizations that all share a common axis, or you want to break a crowded line chart into smaller, more easily understood pieces.
The small multiples option will allow you to do just this on some visuals. If the option is available, just add the common axis you want to break your data into.

Small multiples are a great capability to help users think about data in smaller subsets and also make it easier for report designers to build multiple-visual reports without having to manually configure each visual. For example, breaking up by Region Name, as shown in Figure 9.31, allows you to see the same visual by each region in a simple step.
