In the first section of this chapter, we are going to briefly look at some general troubleshooting tips. We will start with looking at what the end users are reporting as issues. Is it down to a particular app or desktop configuration? If it is a performance-related issue, we need to be able to correlate that back to the supporting infrastructure components, such as which server their desktop or apps are running on, so that we can isolate host resource issues, such as a slow network or slow disk.
