In this chapter, we explored key components within the cloud security ecosystem, shedding light on the roles of CNAPPs, CIEM, CASBs, CWPPs, and DSPM. The cloud security ecosystem presented as a comprehensive framework to tackle the evolving challenges of securing cloud environments. CNAPPs take center stage by offering a unified approach to secure cloud-native applications, while CIEM is highlighted for its crucial role in managing and securing access entitlements within cloud infrastructures. CASBs emerge as a pivotal bridge between on-premises and cloud environments, providing visibility and control over cloud-based applications.
