Exporting for web display
There are chances that you'll also want to share your comics or illustrations on the Internet. Whether it's on a personal portfolio site or whether you're making a webcomic, you'd want to be able to resize and compress your files to optimize them for the Web. Let's export a comic page for the Internet!
Getting ready
You will need a file open to export. It can be of any dimension and dpi; we will be adjusting these values as we export.
How to do it…
The following steps will show us how to export an image for display on the Internet:
- Click on File and then scroll down to Export (Single Layer). Choose any of the
.jpg
,.bmp
,.png
, or.tif
file formats for your output file and click on it.Tip
