Importing 3D models into Clip Studio Paint
Using the 3D assets in the Material palette is all well and good, but what about importing a unique model from another program? In this section, we are going to look at how to do so, and how to turn it into a line drawing as a finishing touch. But there is a downside to using this function too much, as the characters might look too artificial and generic – it’s good to remember to not abuse this tool too much and keep this as a basic template for creating your unique art style.
Although Clip Studio Paint can import 3D information from other programs, there are some limitations. For instance, sometimes, color and texture information for a model from an outside source may not be imported into Clip Studio Paint correctly.
