Controller widgets allow you to control any actuators attached to the Raspberry Pi through GPIO pins. The pins can be digital or virtual. With controller widgets you can, for example, control the brightness of an LED, change the color of an RGB LED, or change the speed of motors to control the movement of a robot buggy.
In this chapter, you will learn:
- About controller widgets such as Slider, Step, Joystick, and zeRGBa
- How to use software PWM library
- How to connect controller widgets with digital and virtual pins
- How to use split and merge mode
- How to parse values
