Microsoft Azure
Microsoft Azure is a cloud computing platform and service offered by Microsoft that provides a range of cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and analytics. It allows organizations to build, deploy, and manage applications and services through a global network of data centers, providing the ability to scale up or down as needed without the need for on-premises infrastructure. Azure offers a variety of services, including virtual machines, databases, app services, IoT, and machine learning, and can integrate with other Microsoft productivity suites, such as Microsoft 365 (we will discuss productivity suites in Chapter 7 of this book). Azure also provides a range of security features, including IAM, network security, and threat protection, to help keep data and applications secure.
