Editing images and videos
Many people happily use the Photos app simply to view their pictures. However, you might want to modify any pictures you capture, either to improve them or to get creative and silly with them. To edit images and videos, the first step is to select the image or video you want to modify.
If you want to modify images or videos, you can choose from one of the following categories of editing tools:
- Live Photos (still images only): Lets you choose which frame within a live photo to use
- Video (video only): Lets you adjust the starting and ending point of a video
- Adjust: Lets you modify brightness, exposure, contrast, and other features
- Filters: Lets you choose different ways to alter the overall appearance of an image or video
- Reset: Lets you rotate, crop, and adjust the position of an image or video
