CIO interview questions for you to ask
You have reached the stage in the CIO interview where the interviewer then asks you what questions would you like to ask of them. Having no questions is never going to be seen in a positive light. Conversely, asking too many questions may also not be ideal.
My advice is to ask three to five questions and have these prepared prior to the interview. It is acceptable to reference your notes as this can demonstrate that you are taking this role very seriously and have come prepared.
I’d also add that this stage of the interview is where you can probe and gain a deeper understanding of the CIO role. Don’t be afraid to ask a secondary follow-up question and be curious without being overly annoying.
