In Chapter 12, Optimizing Observability, we learned that our serverless resources emit many useful metrics that we can use to monitor our systems. We learned how to turn all this data into actionable information, by categorizing it as resource or work metrics so that teams have the confidence to experiment and fail forward fast.
Now, it is time for the last chapter. It is time to take everything you have learned and put micro frontends and autonomous service patterns into action. But where do we start? How do we build momentum? What pitfalls lie ahead? How do we cross the cultural divide between the old and the new? This chapter will answer these questions. But there will always be open questions. We can’t let them delay us. We need to start experimenting.
