Staying calm when trouble arises
It is a harsh reality that while experimenting with your Plone buildout (such as adding various packages from the Python Package Index), things are more likely to go wrong than they are to go right.
Do yourself a favor and:
Do not panic.
Paste the error message to
http://paste.plone.org.Join the #plone IRC channel on
irc://irc.freenode.net/and ask the folks in there if they understand the error.Alternatively, ask a question on the Plone users' mailing list on Sourceforge.net (https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/plone-users).
A lot of times, what appears to be a cryptic error is actually not to the trained eye. It is important that you learn to tell the difference.
