Designing a drill-through report

In this recipe, we will build a drill-through report using Essbase Studio. There are times when a user may require more information on what makes up a number while conducting analysis in Essbase. Drill-through reporting allows the user to select the intersection that contains the data in question and drill into the relational data. This functionality has historically been handled via Essbase Integration Services (EIS) and this development tool is still used for this purpose in the field. That said, Essbase Studio will have parity with EIS, as per Oracle's road map in the near future.
