Security Posture

A security posture is an organization’s “threat-protection” and “response capabilities.” This ensures that the organization has the ability for systems, data, and identities to be recoverable and operational should an attack be successful.

Any security approach must start from an inward look at the current security position. Secure Score can be thought of as a “credit-rating” score you receive to see how likely you are to be accepted for a finance agreement. In other words, Secure Score will indicate your security posture. However, in security terms, it looks at where you are on the attack vulnerability scale of 1 to 10.
