Examining problems when copying lists
Today, it's not uncommon that you could receive business documents created with programs other than Microsoft Office. You may work with multiple programs. Sometimes, copying from one program to another can be problematic. Copying from one document to another of the same format does not always go well. Anytime you copy from another source, you can have issues with the formatting. Formatting can vary from document to document and in Word, formatting is often based on styles. As we have talked about in Chapter 8, Saving Time and Ensuring Consistency with Styles, styles are the best way to work in Word and lists are no exception.
