Summary

In this book, we learnt about the technology, methodologies, and approaches required to perform mobile testing automation. The chapters are provided in as comprehensive manner as possible. However, given the vastness as well as the still emerging character of the mobile field, and given that the support for upcoming technologies, such as Near Field Communication (NFC), wearable devices, and mobile contactless payments with technologies such as Apple Pay or iBeacon is still very limited with automation tools, it is not possible to cover each and every combination of a project upfront. With the examples of real projects presented in this chapter, we hope that the usually hidden aspects of mobile testing automation projects are clearer to you, and that you will be able to identify the most suitable approach to devising well-suited testing strategies that are aimed at delivering customer delight.
