Customizing the Command Bar
Other than the positions of the various palettes, another thing that can be customized and saved among workspaces is the Command Bar menu at the top of the screen, the units of measurement, and the keyboard shortcuts.
Personalizing the Command Bar is a great way to add icons for operations that you use often. In fact, let's add making a New Raster Layer to the Command Bar so that you can see what I mean. To edit your Command Bar, go to File | Command bar settings.
Anything that you can access from the menu at the very top of Manga Studio can be added to the Command Bar over the top of the canvas. You'll see a list of categories under a preview of the Command Bar. Clicking on the triangles to the left of the category name will open it and show you the options under it. Functions that are already added to the Command Bar cannot be added again.
Click on the triangle next to the Layer category and select the New Raster Layer entry.
