Implementing Azure VNet connectivity
Before building an AVD environment, we need to review the network requirements and the different components and configuration options available.
Azure VNet
When deploying an AVD environment, one of the first things you need to ensure that you have configured correctly is the VNet.
The VNet enables Azure resources, such as Azure VMs, to access the internet and on-premises networks.
The VNet is similar to a traditional network you would operate within your environment. However, it allows you to take advantage of Microsoft Azure’s infrastructure, including availability, scaling, and isolation.
What is an Azure VNet?
Azure VNets allow resources to securely connect to services and access on-premises resources. VNets have several features and configurable options for filtering and routing traffic and integrating with Azure services. The following sections detail some of the features and what they do.
